Hi! I'm Kendra, I’m a reporter at the public radio station KCBX, covering California’s Central Coast.

 

I spent last summer in Alaska, reporting on commercial fishing and the yearly salmon run for the Bristol Bay Fisheries Report on KDLG.

I’ve also worked at Vox Media, KUOW, KBCS, and have freelanced with the podcasts Without and Death On the Lot. My reporting has also been featured in The California Report, Alaska News Nightly, This American Life, and the BBC podcasts Short Cuts and The Compass. I attended the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies with a focus in Radio and Podcasting.
